The Living Voice, a Journey Through States of Being
We invite you to a unique experience at the intersection of circlesinging and other forms of spontaneous collective song, with a profound exploration of the states of consciousness these practices can lead us to.
Over the course of 3 days, we will explore various qualities of singing and vibrational states, following the path of the 5 elements—living archetypes that guide us. Tapping into each person’s innate musicianship, we will reimagine ancestral ways of group singing and use sound to nurture a sense of community, where every voice is valued.
Our bodies, voices, and breath will be the instruments we use to journey through different states of being, experiencing various facets of our aliveness and gathering energy from a shared recognition of our connection to these living sources.
Beyond vocal and musical learning, we invite you to partake in a collective life experience centred around a rhythmic cycle of 5 half-days.
The experience culminates in the Circular Night—an immersive overnight event filled with rhythm, movement, and sound.
Set in the heart of the Préalpes d’Azur Natural Park, our venue offers an ideal space for nourishing human connections, deeply attuned to the 5 elements.
It is possible to stay on-site (€25 per night), with a kitchen and a dining hall available for your use.

Amaël Ferrando
My path led me to explore singing in different forms, from lyrical singing to classical Indian singing, then improvised jazz singing which I studied at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam and at the Berklee College of Music (Boston), and finally at Circlesongs…
At the same time, I practice and teach other vibrational approaches: Systema, Nidra Yoga, Qigong and especially the Taoist tradition of Qigong Tuina which I studied for nine years in Beijing. Writing books in these areas hones my creative expression.
The circular night is for me a way of unifying these different aspects: voice, movement, energy, corporeality and spirituality, rhythm, instant composition and musical improvisation. Everything is there, everything is created in the moment and is transformed every moment.
